Method
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 180 °C.
- In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour and panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat the marinated chicken pieces first in the flour mixture, then back in the buttermilk, and finally in the panko mixture.
- Lightly spray the nuggets with olive oil and place them in the Air Fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Notes
Tip: For an extra kick of flavor, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture!
