Air Fryer Falafel Bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g canned chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsb salt or to taste
  • 1/2 cup tahini for serving
  • 1 cup mixed salad greens for serving
  • 1 lemon wedges for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mash the drained chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until chunky.
  2. Add cumin, coriander, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and olive oil. Mix well until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties using your hands.
  4. Preheat the Air fryer to 200°C.
  5. Place the falafel in the Air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, turning halfway through.
  6. Serve the falafel bowls with mixed greens, tahini, and lemon wedges.

Notes

Tip: For extra flavor, add some chili powder or cumin to the salad greens.
