Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices thick bread preferably brioche or challah
  • 2 large eggs
  • 200 ml milk or any dairy-free alternative
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional, for extra flavor
  • 1 tablespoon sugar optional
  • spray cooking spray for greasing
  • maple syrup for serving optional
  • powdered sugar for dusting optional

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C.
  3. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated but not soaked.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the bread slices in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip the slices and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.

Tip: For an extra touch, top with fresh berries or whipped cream!
