Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
- In a shallow bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In another bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and milk.
- Dip each tomato slice into the egg mixture, then dredge in the cornmeal mixture.
- Place the battered tomato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray the tops lightly with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip them, spray again with olive oil, and air fry for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Tip: Feel free to add some grated Parmesan cheese to the cornmeal mixture for an extra cheesy flavor!
