Method
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, melted butter, and egg into the yeast mixture. Stir until combined and knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick.
- Cut out circles using a cookie cutter and place them in the Air Fryer basket. Preheat the Air Fryer to 180°C.
- Air fry the donuts for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Fill a piping bag with jelly and inject it into each donut.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Tip: Make sure to let the donuts cool slightly before filling them with jelly to prevent it from leaking out.
