Air Fryer Jelly Donuts

There's nothing quite like the smell of fresh donuts filling the kitchen! These Air Fryer Jelly Donuts are not only delightful and fun to make, but they are also a healthier choice for the family.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 50 g sugar granulated
  • 7 g dry yeast active dry
  • 1 large egg
  • 120 ml milk warm
  • 60 g butter melted
  • 100 g jelly any flavor
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, melted butter, and egg into the yeast mixture. Stir until combined and knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick.
  5. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter and place them in the Air Fryer basket. Preheat the Air Fryer to 180°C.
  6. Air fry the donuts for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Fill a piping bag with jelly and inject it into each donut.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Tip: Make sure to let the donuts cool slightly before filling them with jelly to prevent it from leaking out.
