Ingredients
  

  • 2 pita breads pita breads or naan bread
  • 200 g chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 100 g shredded cheese Mexican blend works best
  • 100 g black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup salsa your favorite kind
  • 50 g sour cream for topping
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer to 180°C.
  2. Spread half of the salsa evenly over each pita bread.
  3. On one of the pitas, layer the shredded chicken, black beans, and top with cheese.
  4. Sprinkle taco seasoning over if using, then cover with the second pita.
  5. Brush the top with olive oil.
  6. Place the assembled pizza into the Air Fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the pita is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the Air Fryer and let cool for a minute. Add the remaining salsa and top with sour cream.
  9. Slice and serve warm!

Notes

Tip: For an extra kick, add jalapeños or your favorite hot sauce!
