Ingredients
  

  • 2 large onions sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko for extra crunch
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. In three separate bowls, set up a dredging station: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each onion ring first in flour, then in egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  4. Coat the air fryer basket with spray oil and place the onion rings in a single layer. Lightly spray them with olive oil.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, flip the rings, and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Tip: For a little kick, add some cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture!
