Air Fryer Philly Cheesesteaks

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g beef steak thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 4 buns sub rolls for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced beef, onion, bell pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat everything evenly.
  3. Place the mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. After 10 minutes, top the mixture with provolone cheese and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and spoon the mixture onto sub rolls to serve.

Notes

Tip: For extra flavor, try adding some sautéed mushrooms to the mixture!
