Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 200 °C.
- In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add the baking soda.
- Cut the bread dough into small bite-sized pieces and boil them in the soda water for about 30 seconds.
- Remove the pretzel bites from the water and place them on a paper towel to dry.
- Brush the pretzel bites with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Arrange the pretzel bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove them and brush with melted butter before serving.
